The Kelly Family, Kona, Hawaii 2011

Candace Kelly was raised in Kansas City, a true Midwestern girl at heart.  After two years at the University of Kansas, she left to pursue her modeling career, moving first to Chicago, then to Miami and eventually to New York City.  Shortly after arriving in the Big Apple,  Candace met the love of her life, Patrick, married, and spent her remaining New York years working, traveling , and surfing. Patrick’s job took them to London where they lived for three years, taking full advantage of the travels abroad.  It was also here that Candace gave birth to her first son, Casey, and , shortly after, her beautiful daughter, Maxine.  From London, the family moved to Los Angeles where they settled in Malibu, and again were blessed with a boy – the Mighty Quinn.

Malibu, the relaxed city by the sea, proved to be an excellent fit for the young family with it’s wide beaches, great shopping and small-town family feel.  Most days, the family spends time at the beach, Candace’s Gucci stilettos and cashmere sweaters gone to Havaianas flip flops and bikinis.  But Candace felt something was missing.  What if she wanted to step off the beach and into Beverly Hills?  Candace realized women need something they feel comfortable in both on and off the beach – something stylish & sexy, yet practical for a mother of three (wet & sandy) children.  Candace Kelly was born!

Candace was soon joined by Erin Kelly, Patrick’s younger sister, a 20 year veteran of the garment industry.  Together they’ve brought Candace’s dreams to fruition, laid out on the pages before you.
